i like this book a lot. so much that i leave it in my bathroom as to start conversations about it. people pay attention to what books you leave in your bathroom.
Likewise! Ive read it a million times, and if anyone enjoys this book, Oliver Sacks Musicophilia is a must read as well. Daniel Levitin’s “The World in Six Songs” is also super cool as well!
…thanks for the kind words which I’m too embarrassed to reeb-lawg. But, to semi-answer your question, my shoe philosophy is that there is a direct correlation between height and power, and so I usually just go for the biggest stompiest ones I can find. Simple! Personally retiring, yet physically intimidating is the dichotomy I’m going for.
